Ian Dunning – CEO

Ian is a former banker with HSBC and has over 17 years’ experience in the conception, design, and development of online reference data platforms and delivery systems for the international banking community, including SWIFT’s SWIFTRef business unit.
His work has focused on extending the use of payments reference data into corporate systems, including payments and e-invoice validation.
Ian is also a published author (in Italian) on the commercial use of the internet.
Over the past two years, Ian, together with Nick, has worked closely with the ICC Ukraine on the design and development of the Rebuild Ukraine Portal and Global Export Promotion Programme.
Nick Daniel - COO

Nick is a senior IT and business development professional with over 30 years’ experience across payments, reference data, and transaction banking in the UK, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America.
He combines entrepreneurial experience with strong governance and operational expertise, including roles in both start-up and established organisations.
Nick was previously co-founder of a payments fintech, where he was responsible for regulatory compliance, operations, and DevOps.

Roel Crooijmans - Chief Innovation Officer

Roel is an entrepreneur focused on simplifying and innovating business processes through digital transformation.
His work includes the transition from paper-based to electronic systems and the structured sharing of data in international trade environments.
He is actively involved in innovations such as e-invoicing, eCMR, blockchain, and Peppol.
In his role with ExpoWorld.cloud, Roel has been closely involved in the development of multilingual microsites as a practical solution to simplify international business.
Andrew Foulds - Strategic Content & Partners

Andrew has over 20 years’ experience in the reference data industry, combining commercial and technical expertise.
Formerly with SWIFT, he was part of the management team for SWIFTRef and led the global partner programme.
He has extensive experience in developing and managing strategic relationships and has worked with major payment infrastructures, including the European Payments Council, Euro Banking Association, Pay.UK, and the Banking and Payments Federation Ireland
Flavio Caricasole – Italian Market

Flavio was previously a senior banker with the UBI Banca Group, where he was responsible for International Trade and Payment Systems. He has deep expertise in correspondent banking, trade finance and cash management.
Flavio has also developed business intelligence tools for analysing interbank messaging traffic and created the Transaction Banking Lab, which connects banks’ requirements with fintech solutions available in the market.
In addition, he developed the Italian export portal Proexporters.
